Nevermore-Approved Premium Steam-Activated Carbon
Premium coal-based steam-activated carbon in 3 mm pellet form.
Officially approved by Ondsk4, creator of the Nevermore project.
Features
- Optimal Quantity: Each vacuum-sealed 2.15 L (~1.6 kg) bag completely fills one Nevermore StealthMax V1.
- Customizable Use: Can be mixed 50/50 with Notus™ to extend filtration capability by combining physical adsorption with chemical oxidation.
- Long Shelf Life: Shipped in a resealable vacuum-sealed bag, allowing partial use while helping preserve freshness.
Recommended Applications
Perfect for enclosed 3D printers running lower-emission materials such as PLA, PETG, TPU, and similar filaments. Activated carbon excels at removing odors and many volatile organic compounds (VOCs) produced during everyday printing.

Why Steam-Activated Carbon Matters for 3D Printing
Activated carbon is commonly produced using either steam activation or chemical (acid) activation.
Steam-activated carbon contains no residual activation chemicals and is the preferred choice for enclosed 3D printer filtration systems. Some chemically activated carbons may retain acidic residues that can be released over time. In the warm, humid environment of an enclosed printer, those residues may contribute to corrosion of exposed metal components.
This product is 100% steam activated, making it suitable for long-term use in enclosed 3D printing environments.
